Applicants must be students or recent graduates in one of the following disciplines:
The Marketing and Communications team plays a central role in building and protecting the reputation of the British Council. The team supports our work in the three major areas which shape our cultural relations offer in Bulgaria – teaching English, administering UK exams and delivering projects in Arts, Education and Society.
The Marketing and Communications team leads on our media relations, event management and marketing planning and implementation. It also manages the homepage of our corporate website and related social media channels. The team comprises of the Head of Marketing, a Marketing Coordinator and a Customer Service Coordinator and works directly with relevant managers from our Teaching Centre, Examinations Services department and the Projects team.
The intern will be a full member of the Marketing and Communications team and will be actively involved in the marketing planning work in our busy office in Sofia, as well as developing content for press releases and for our website. In addition the intern will support our social media work and the development of communications plans that knit together press, web and social media activity. There will also be a chance to be involved in high profile events and to learn about event management.
