Who can attend?

Our teacher seminars are led by experienced trainers and are designed for teachers of English who prepare or plan to start preparing students for the Cambridge English and IELTS exams. They are held in English and are suitable for both native speakers and non-native speakers.

What we offer?

Participants will be familiarised with the format of the exams. Analysis of each exam component will also be included, with a focus on those aspects that students usually find most challenging. The trainer will also provide a set of practical activities that could improve students' skills and their strategies for overall performance. It is essential that teachers take active part in the training.

All necessary materials will be provided by the British Council, including handbooks, handouts, brochures, copies of presentations. Coffee break refreshments are also included. At the end of the seminar day, the teacher will give a certificate to each participant.

Programme and registration

The duration of each seminar is between 4 and 7 hours, so you should spare a whole day. Each participant will receive a detailed timetable and information about the venue up to 4 days prior to the seminar date.

The seminars are free of charge. To book a place please complete the Seminar Application form below.
