The British Council IELTS Partnership Programme is a scheme for organisations that register and prepare test takers for IELTS, IELTS for UKVI and/or IELTS for UKVI Life Skills.
Our programme exists to recognise the great work our partner organisations do in promoting IELTS around the world. Our success as the British Council and IELTS comes from working closely with valued partners like you. Across the world, with our network of partnership programmes, we recognise and reward organisations just like yours: agents, schools and businesses that register and prepare test takers for IELTS.
If your school or organisation registers candidates for IELTS, IELTS for UKVI, and/or IELTS for UKVI Life Skills exams with the British Council, you can apply to become an official partner and enjoy exclusive benefits for your teachers and students.

We go further, together
As a member of our British Council IELTS partnership programme, your organisation will be expected to offer registration and referral services for IELTS and/or IELTS for UKVI and/or IELTS for UKVI Life Skills exams on our behalf. This will involve promoting these exams where relevant, assisting candidates with registration, and providing guidance on the exam process to ensure the test taker journey is as smooth as possible during what can be a stressful and complicated process.
If you decide to become an IELTS partner, we will provide your organisation with access to resources, support in test preparation, and opportunities to expand your services through cross-promotion.

Membership levels
The more candidates you register the greater the benefits. We offer four partnership levels:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
Progress from Bronze to Platinum level based on the number of registrations in an academic year (start of September till end of August), with the level reviewed yearly and in accordance with the total of registrations made during the preceding year.

Application for membership is open to all schools, language centres and other education organisations and institutions that register candidates for IELTS at one of our authorised exam centres in Bulgaria.
