Late Cretaceous dinosaur remains, and other tetrapod fauna were found in the vicinity of the Western Srednogorie. Dr. Latinka Hristova, Ralitsa Konyovska and Vladimir Nikolov from the National Natural History Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences will give you a real idea of what walking with dinosaurs would have meant 84 to 82 million years ago in Bulgaria. They will also talk about what it is like to discover a paleontological site and why this is so important for the future of the biosphere of the dynamic world we live in.
