Meet the teachers

Milena Grudeva

Milena has an MA in English Philology, Cambridge CELTA qualifications, specialist qualifications in teaching Young Learners (Secondary) and teaching online. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, Milena aims at inspiring learners to become glossophiles. She is passionate about travelling, reading, and Liverpool – the city, the accent, the football club.    

Minka Paraskevova

Teacher

Dr Minka Paraskevova holds a PhD in Scottish Theatre and Culture from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, an MSc in European Theatre from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, a BA in English Philology from Sofia University and a Trinity TESOL Cert. She has a QTS in the UK since 2009. Her work experiences vary in range and locations such as Prague, Dublin, London, Edinburgh and others. She is a trained mathematician and a writer of children's literature and short stories. 

Monica Miteva

Monica is a dedicated educator who graduated with a degree in English Philology from Sofia University. A CELTA certified teacher, she has spent several years as a teaching assistant in an apprenticeship scheme before transitioning to her current role as a Young Learner teacher. Monica adores children and is passionate about being an active part of their English learning journey. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and immersing herself in English classics.

Nia Antonova

Nia has a BA in English and American studies from SU and recently acquired a Cambridge CELTA teaching qualification. She's a new addition to the teaching team at Krakra, having previously worked both as a Teaching assistant and as an Exam Invigilator. She enjoys teaching children and has a love for cats, baking, and collecting records.

Plamen Evlogiev

Plamen has been in love with the English language since he was six and achieved his dream of becoming a teacher at the age of 20. After working for the British Council as a Teaching Assistant, he successfully completed his Cambridge CELTA qualification and obtained NILE qualification in Teaching Young Learners. He is passionate about psychology and literature.

Polina Yavasheva

Polly has worked as an English teacher in Bulgaria and the UK. She has attained the internationally-recognised teaching award of the Cambridge University DELTA and holds a Master’s degree in British and American Studies from Sofia University. Polly has significant experience of preparing students and examining for internationally recognised English language tests. Being in love with life, in her free time she enjoys dancing, poetry, and travelling around the world.

Radosveta Simeonska

Teacher

Radi has a BA in British and American Studies from Sofia University, the Cambridge CELTA and a specialist qualification in Teaching English in Pre-Primary Education. Before training to become a teacher, she worked for the British Council as a Teaching Assistant and as Young Learner Assistant at our St George International School partner premises. Radi enjoys music and travel, and often combines both in her musically motivated trips abroad. 

Romina Zhekova

Having recently graduated in the UK, Romina worked in England for a year as an EFL/ESOL teacher. She has enjoyed every minute of her teaching experience and is very happy to have the opportunity to teach in Bulgaria now. Romina is very fond of experiencing foreign cultures. She also enjoys learning languages and quite likes literature (science fiction and fantasy fiction). A curious fact about her is that Romina is fond of Japanese culture for no particular reason.

Simon Robert

Simon is from Bristol in the South West of England. He has a BA in Communication Arts, and Media from Leeds University, has been teaching English in Bulgaria since being awarded his Cambridge CELTA certificate in 2013 and has much experience in preparing students for international English language certificates. Having previously worked as a computer programmer he finds he prefers life as an English teacher, though still enjoys the “geekly” pursuits of messing with linux and reading sci-fi.

Stanimira Robert

Stanimira holds an MA in Bulgarian Philology and English Language and literature from Sofia University, plus a CELTA qualification in 2013. With 25 years of teaching experience, she specializes in preparing students for internationally recognised English language tests. Passionate about English language and culture, she teaches all age groups and levels. In her free time, she is a keen explorer of the great outdoors and a culture vulture.
