English teachers

Yi received her BA in English Literature and American History from Emory University in the United States. She taught general and exam English in the U.S. before relocating to Bulgaria in 2023. Out of curiosity, she attained her CELTA teaching certificate in Budapest. She teaches both adults and young learners at the British Council. She loves art history and museums. She is especially interested in Asian art. Her favourite museum is the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco.

Zlatina has an MA in English Philology, a Cambridge CELTA and Trinity College Certificate for Practising Teachers; she completed specialist courses in teaching young learners and business English and is a speaking examiner for Cambridge exams. With more than 17 years of experience with students from all walks of life, Zlatina is a cheerful, approachable person who aims to stimulate and inspire her students. She is interested in psychology and the arts, and enjoys socialising and travelling.
