English teachers

Stanimira holds an MA in Bulgarian Philology and English Language and literature from Sofia University, plus a CELTA qualification in 2013. With 25 years of teaching experience, she specializes in preparing students for internationally recognised English language tests. Passionate about English language and culture, she teaches all age groups and levels. In her free time, she is a keen explorer of the great outdoors and a culture vulture.

Toni is a CELTA-certified and NILE-trained Young Learner teacher with years of experience igniting young minds. Teaching is her dream job and she's dedicated to it. A bookworm and artist, passionate about the planet and society, she dreams of shaping curious futures through joyful, impactful learning.

Violeta has a BA in English and American studies from Sofia University, a Cambridge CELTA and has completed a specialist course in Teaching Young Learners. She is passionate about teaching and learning languages and worked for the British Council as a Teaching Assistant before she qualified as a teacher. She is now a qualified Business English teacher and IELTS tutor. Violeta loves travelling, discovering new cultures, meeting new people, playing the piano and reading in English and French.

Yi received her BA in English Literature and American History from Emory University in the United States. She taught general and exam English in the U.S. before relocating to Bulgaria in 2023. Out of curiosity, she attained her CELTA teaching certificate in Budapest. She teaches both adults and young learners at the British Council. She loves art history and museums. She is especially interested in Asian art. Her favourite museum is the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco.

Zlatina has an MA in English Philology, a Cambridge CELTA and Trinity College Certificate for Practising Teachers; she completed specialist courses in teaching young learners and business English and is a speaking examiner for Cambridge exams. With more than 17 years of experience with students from all walks of life, Zlatina is a cheerful, approachable person who aims to stimulate and inspire her students. She is interested in psychology and the arts, and enjoys socialising and travelling.
