An explosive lockdown science show from BBC Gastronaut Stefan Gates and his long-suffering lab assistant Poppy (who also happens to be his 15-yr old daughter). Together in lock-down in their London Gastrolab-studio-home they take the audience on a journey through the human body, exploring revolting bodily science and extraordinary physics. Half of the demos can be replicated at home by the audience and half ABSOLUTELY can’t! There’ll be snot, poo, rockets, explosions, edible chemical reactions, lots of farting and the world’s weirdest giant whoopee cushion! Stefan Gates is a British television star, author of several books and a popular presenter – a real sensation at some of the biggest science festivals in the world.
The event will be broadcast live online only in front of the audience in the Cosmos venue hall at Sofia Tech Park.
Children do not need to know English to enjoy this world-class science show. Simultaneous interpretation is provided.
Due to the epidemic situation, changes in the programme may occur – both in the dates and times of the events and in the mode of delivery (digital or live). Please follow the festival page for the latest information.
